offering a “Senior Power” Workshop.
The workshops are a very hands-on and dynamic way to develop a
repertoire of safety strategies & skills which can be used with strangers
and with people we know, in everyday interactions as well as emergency

their yellow trays to the kitchen when you have finished eating your soup. Let’s show our appreciation
to the volunteers who work hard to make the soup kitchen possible week after
week by returning our trays. Thank you for your

We would like to remind you
to remove snow boots and other overshoes at the front door. Bring shoes or slippers with a good tread
with you when you come to the Centre during the winter months so you can be
comfortable once here. This will prevent slippery,
wet surfaces for yourself and others. Thank you for your cooperation! |

sanitizers on the walls at the Centre frequently. Please stay home if you have the beginnings of any flu symptoms. Everyone is now eligible for the H1N1 flu
vaccine. Call 811 (Info-Santé) if you
have any questions about your condition. Buddy up with friends and neighbours
to check on each other. And it never
hurts to have some canned soups, frozen juice and a bit of cash on hand at
home in case of illness. |
